What You’ll Do:
As Director, TELUS digital, you’re in charge of the big picture – the TELUS digital plan of record for one of our customer outcome portfolio areas. As a bridge between our customers, your stakeholders and the broader digital team you’re responsible for evolving the online experience for telus.com including in year operating and capital plans, all go to market activities, product launches, marketing campaigns, web-assisted sales through targeted lead-gen and driving digital adoption. You’re also responsible for delivering simple to use authenticated digital experiences for our existing customers to make it easier for them to do business with TELUS.
Reporting to the VP, Digital, you will collaborate with internal and external delivery teams to drive the optimal online customer experiences across all key stages of customer life-cycle from search, buy, post-sales support, care, repair & renewal.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
Many years of digital experience and a deep understanding of the digital environment (online, mobile and social).
You must be as comfortable discussing content and commerce strategy as you are self-service strategy, personalization and process evolution, you’re also on top of key industry trends that consistently drive changing web requirements.
Strong leadership and organizational transformation skills
Ability to anticipate and assess risks, contingency plans and manage change in a complex environment
Creative and innovative thinking
Proven leadership, coaching, motivating, goal setting, performance management and human resource management skills
Demonstrated ability to provide feedback and coaching to develop team members
A flexible approach and the ability to accept and champion change
Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to delegate, monitor and manage high volume workloads
Ability to effectively solve problem and deal with complex project issues
Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and cross-functional teams
Undergraduate degree: Master’s or MBA preferred
Minimum 7 years experience at director level in a large corporate setting
Minimum 5 years experience digital marketing, self-serve/authenticated experience
