Ladies Learning Code, Kids Learning Code, and Girls Learning Code are looking to grow our team of volunteer Lead Instructors for our workshops and programs.

Our Lead Instructors are enthusiastic, well-spoken, and knowledgeable of the subject at hand. They have professional experience that relates to the subject and a demonstrated portfolio of work that reflects their passion and excitement. No previous teaching experience is required! Our Instructors have a passion for helping provide an alternative, accelerated learning environment that is social, collaborative and accessible to all.
Why join the Lead Instructor team?
Since Ladies Learning Code was founded in 2011, we have built our organization to be a national brand, alongside launching our innovative sister organizations, Girls Learning Code and Kids Learning Code.
As a lead instructor you help us continue to deliver accessible digital literacy through quality workshops. You will gain experience teaching learners of diverse backgrounds and ages, and you will be inspired and inspire.
As a volunteer with Ladies Learning Code, Kids Learning Code, and Girls Learning Code, you will have the opportunity to connect with other volunteers and members of our network, both socially and professionally. We promote our volunteers on our blog before every workshop in featured posts that include a picture, bio, and links to social media. We support our volunteers in creating and finding exciting opportunities in their industries.
Most importantly, as a volunteer Lead Instructor you’ll get that warm and fuzzy feeling of sharing knowledge and empowering others.
Note: During the interview process, you will be asked to teach 10 - 15 minutes of an existing Ladies Learning Code workshop via a Google Hangout.
