Benefit Cosmetics Canada is looking for a full-time E-Commerce Account Manager (1 year contract with potential of becoming permanent). This position will oversee Benefit Cosmetics strategy, product assortment, content and sales on the e-commerce sites of our wholesale retailer partners. This person will be responsible for driving e-commerce sales in direct partnership with the Account Managers & wholesale teams. The Manager formulates strategic direction for all major marketing programs driving cohesive, omni-channel plans and breakthrough initiatives that deliver incremental brand exposure, win the digitally-connected omni-channel consumer & ultimately, delivers sales growth. He/She will be the primary point-of-contact for the retailer E-commerce Merchants and Marketing teams to negotiate & secure exposure, execute marketing programs and manage day-to-day business.

The ideal candidate is familiar with retailer e-commerce and sales-driving digital marketing techniques, a strong communicator and project manager and able to collaborate and ensure flawless and timely execution of programs. This position will also be responsible for both the planning of retailer site content needs and creating assets for channel specific content, therefore, design skills are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop clear channel strategy and comprehensive marketing and promotional plans to achieve budget/account objectives. Collaborate closely with Benefit Account Managers along with retailer E-commerce teams to develop a cohesive omni channel experience. Analyze and distribute weekly/monthly sales reports and monitor all online exposure. Manage and maintain retailer sites product catalogs to ensure accuracy & updates for all brand and product content (copy, content, etc.)

  • Site Merchandising & Marketing Strategy: Oversee wholesale accounts e-commerce merchandising and digital marketing calendars to increase sales across all online channels. Develop and manage the content strategy and schedule for retailer e-commerce sites. Coordinates and execute all new product launches for retailer sites; delivery of comps, copy, site forms, asset design and/or production & delivery of assets. Work directly with retail partners to secure specific promotions including sampling, promotional offers, CRM programs, exposure, etc. Recommend creative solutions for site enhancements to maximize key products or categories and drive user experience plus design assets necessary.

  • Content Strategy: Develop the content strategy for retailer ecommerce sites, and oversee creation and delivery of assets. Recommend creative solutions for site enhancements to maximize key products or categories and drive user experience.

    Qualifications/Experience:

  • 3-5 years previous experience with relevant retail ecommerce merchandising or marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Working knowledge of retail business acumen and ecommerce best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to generate innovative insights from analysis, communicate results effectively, and work with business partners in developing and implementing new programs to drive results.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to write and edit web based content using correct grammar and punctuation demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent project management and organization skills.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to contribute in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
