About The Role:
The Director of Fundraising is crucial to our organization’s growth and sustainability. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and executing a sustainable fundraising strategy that supports all of our programs across the country in-line with our growth targets. Building off an established community of donors, you will grow our donor base while taking ownership all of our existing senior relationships and lead the fundraising efforts that enable us to deliver on our mission.
Work hours and environment
Work hours are flexible working from home or independently from workshop space. The environment will be that of an alternative, open workspace. This is a senior role that will manage our fundraising coordinator and report to our COO.
The Director of Fundraising will have previously led fundraising initiatives for a national organization in Canada. We’re looking for someone who not only has successful fundraising experience but also has developed and implemented a fundraising strategy.

About Ladies Learning Code
Ladies Learning Code is a Canada-wide not-for-profit organization that runs workshops for women and youth who want to learn beginner-friendly computer programming and other technical skills in a social and collaborative way. Today they have 32 chapters (and counting) across Canada, a thriving girls' program called Girls Learning Code and co-ed kids program called Kids Learning Code and a big goal to teach 200,000 Canadian women and youth to code by 2020. With sponsors and community partners that include TELUS, Microsoft, Scotiabank, Google and many more, Ladies Learning Code has become synonymous with technology education in Canada.
