Your Role: Back-End Developer
We’re looking for back end developers enthusiastic about creating resilient and responsive services with easy to use APIs. In this role you will have an opportunity to work on a visual marketing platform that’s transforming the travel industry. You will work, learn, and develop with an awesome and very agile team which includes a scrum master, CTO/Co-Founder, and developers who are all invested in your success. The main tools you’ll work with are Go (experience with Go not specifically required- we can help you learn that), RESTful services, and AWS.
Currently, we’re developing medium sized RESTful services in Go that use Postgres and Elasticsearch for storage and Redis via AWS Elasticache as the cache layer. Our image processing pipeline uses AWS Kinesis as an event bus, AWS SQS as a managed queue as well as Google's Vision APIs to perform label detection on all photos and videos we ingest.
All projects can be built, tested and deployed with a single command. Continuous Integration is done using TravisCI and once all tests pass, projects are auto-deployed to Test and Prod environments using AWS CodeDeploy.
